  • Our “Babysitter”
  • The Omega of the adult herd

     Grade – Early 20’s

John bought Amigo as his first horse, in the fall of 1998. He was told that Amigo had once been a working cow horse, and we can believe it. He’s certainly smart enough to know what to do!

He functions as the Omega of our adult herd, but he gets a long break from that position every year when he takes on the duties of babysitting our weanlings.

He’s also a great horse to ride, with lots of strength and energy, but not too aggressive on the trail. He and Dutch are best buddies, and love to go out on the trail together.
